This Privacy Policy describes what data the Hyperscalers iOS application ("the App") and the related website at hyperscalers.lilinsystems.xyz ("the Site") collect, why, and how it's handled. The App and Site are operated by Lilin Systems ("we", "us", "our").

Summary, in plain English

• We don't have user accounts. The App works without you signing in.
• We don't run any tracking SDK, advertising network, or behavioural analytics.
• The App talks to a few third parties (Apple, RevenueCat, Anthropic, Supabase, and market-data providers) — only what's required to actually run the product.
• We don't sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.

1. Data We Process

1.1 Subscription data (via RevenueCat and Apple)

When you subscribe to Hyperscalers Pro, Apple processes your payment. RevenueCat — the subscription infrastructure we use — receives a pseudonymous identifier from Apple and tracks your subscription status so the App knows whether to unlock Pro features.

The data RevenueCat handles for us:

• An anonymous app-user identifier (not linked to your email or name)
• Your subscription transaction history (purchase date, product, renewal, cancellation)
• Your country, device model, and OS version, used to localise pricing and diagnose issues

We never see your Apple ID, payment card, or full name through this flow.

1.2 AI-generated explanations (via Anthropic)

When you tap "Explain in 30 seconds", the App sends a request through our Supabase Edge Function to Anthropic's API. The request contains:

• The topic (a layer id like layer:hbm or a ticker like ticker:NVDA)
• Public market context the App already shows you (share of capex, top tickers, today's prices, this week's bottleneck flag)

It does NOT contain your name, Apple ID, RevenueCat id, location, device id, or any other personal identifier.

Anthropic's API policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy Generated summaries are cached on our server (Supabase Postgres) keyed by (topic, date) so that one Anthropic call serves every user worldwide for that day.

1.3 Market data (via Finnhub, Financial Modeling Prep, Yahoo Finance)

The App fetches prices, market caps, analyst targets, and 6-month charts through our Supabase Edge Function, which proxies the upstream providers. None of these requests include personal data — they're queries for public market data keyed by ticker symbol.

1.4 App diagnostics (Apple)

If you have "Share App Analytics" or crash reporting enabled at the system level, Apple may share anonymised crash reports with us. We use these only to fix bugs.

1.5 Site analytics

The Site does not run any analytics, tracking pixels, advertising scripts, or third-party cookies. Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) are retained for at most 30 days for operational and security purposes only.

2. What We DON'T Collect

• We don't ask for an email or name to use the App.
• We don't run Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or any similar analytics SDK in the App.
• We don't run advertising SDKs.
• We don't track your activity outside the App or Site.
• We don't read or store your address book, photos, location, or microphone.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for marketing.

We share only the minimum necessary with the service providers listed in section 1, each acting as a processor on our behalf:

• Apple — payment processing and App Store distribution
• RevenueCat — subscription state management
• Anthropic — AI-generated summaries (only the topic + public market context; never personal data)
• Supabase — server infrastructure (hosting our Edge Functions and Postgres cache)
• Finnhub, Financial Modeling Prep, Yahoo Finance — public market data, fetched server-side without user identifiers

If we are legally compelled to disclose information (e.g. by court order), we will do so only to the extent required and, where lawful, will notify the affected user.

5. Data Retention

• Subscription records: retained by RevenueCat for as long as the subscription is active plus the period required for tax and accounting law.
• AI explainer cache: per-(topic, date) entries automatically become irrelevant the next day; we purge entries older than 30 days.
• Market data cache: refreshed every four hours; we don't retain historical user-attributed data because none is collected.
• Server access logs: 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of that data
• Object to processing or request restriction
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Because we don't operate user accounts, the data tied to a specific person is limited to your subscription identifier (managed by RevenueCat) and any crash reports you've shared via Apple. To exercise a right, contact us at the email below — please include the RevenueCat app-user id shown on the in-app Customer Center screen so we can identify your records.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Transfers

The App's infrastructure (Supabase) is hosted in Singapore. Anthropic processes data in the United States. RevenueCat processes data in the United States. By using the App you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions, subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes to This Policy

Material changes to this Policy will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance.
